We know that products processed with metals, stainless steel, aluminum alloys and other materials need to be modified and beautified on their surfaces before they can be put into use.

Well, the same is true in CNC machining. Today, let's briefly analyze the surface treatment process in CNC precision parts machining.

For CNC machining, we can roughly divide its surface treatment into four categories: aesthetics, protection, special surface treatment, and mechanical or engineering surface treatment. You may think that surface treatment is not the focus of machining, but in practical applications, it is often necessary to undergo surface treatment to maximize the performance and value of the product.

For example, anodizing treatment, chemical treatment, etc., can effectively achieve the effects of anti-corrosion and increase weldability. Surface treatment is of indispensable importance for CNC machining and most manufacturing industries.

Then in CNC processing, the surface treatment technology of products can be divided into three categories: mechanical method, metallurgical method and chemical method. Mechanical methods include cutting, sandblasting, fine grinding, etc., which can be said to be a relatively common type. The laws of metallurgy are quenching, carburizing, nitriding, etc. Chemical methods include electrolytic grinding, pickling, acid etching and engraving.
