In precision machinery processing enterprises, during the use of parts processing guide rails, precision machinery processing plants should perform cleaning, lubrication and other protection and maintenance tasks in accordance with operating procedures.
1) Gap adjustment
A very important task for guide rail maintenance during parts processing is to ensure a reasonable gap between the guide rail surfaces. If the gap is too small, the frictional resistance will be large, and the wear of the guide rail will be aggravated; if the gap is too large, the movement will lose accuracy and stability, and the guidance accuracy will be lost. There are three ways to adjust the gap:
(1) Pressure plate adjustment gap: The commonly used pressure plate device forms on rectangular guide rails are: repair scraping type, strip type, gasket type. The pressure plate is fixed on the movable guide rail with screws, and the fitter is often used to cooperate with the scraping and the selection of adjustment pads, flat inserts and other mechanisms to make the gap between the guide rail surface and the support uniform and reach the specified number of contact points. If the gap is too large, you should grind or scrape the B surface; if the gap is too small or the pressure plate and the guide rail are pressed too tightly, you can scrape or grind the A surface.
(2) Adjusting the gap between inserts: There are two types of inserts commonly used, namely equal thickness inserts and diagonal inserts. Equal-thickness inserts are flat inserts with equal length and thickness and a parallelogram (used for dovetail guide rails) or rectangular in cross section. The gap is adjusted by the lateral displacement of screws and nuts on the side. Due to the influence of the pressing force point of precision machining, there is deflection at the force point of the screw. The diagonal strip is a kind of diagonal strip with varying thickness in the whole field and three kinds of adjusting screws for the diagonal strip. The gap is adjusted by the longitudinal displacement of the diagonal strip. The diagonal inserts are supported on the full length, and the slope is 1:40 or 1:100. Because the wedge-shaped pressurization effect will produce excessive lateral pressure, the adjustment should be careful.
(3) Adjusting the gap between the pressure plate and the panel: the pressure plate and the T-shaped pressure plate are fixed on the moving parts with screws, and the diagonal strips are placed between the internal test of the moving parts and the T-shaped pressure plate. The strips are not inclined in the longitudinal direction, but It is inclined in height. When adjusting, use several push-pull screws on the pressure plate to move the inserts up and down to adjust the gap. The upper sliding surface of the triangular guide rail can be automatically compensated, and the gap adjustment of the sliding animation is the same as that of the lower pressure plate of the rectangular guide rail. The gap of the circular guide rail cannot be adjusted in the part processing.
2) Pre-tightening of the rolling guide
There are four types of rolling guide structures in precision machinery processing plants. In order to improve the rigidity of the rolling guide, the rolling guide should be pre-tightened, which can improve the contact stiffness and eliminate the gap. On vertical rolling guides, pre-tensioning can prevent rolling elements from falling off and skewing. There are two common preload methods.
(1) Use interference fit. If the preload is greater than the external load, the interference produced by the preload is 2-3μm, and if it is too large, the traction will increase. If the moving part is heavier, its gravity can act as a preload. If the rigidity meets the requirements, no load can be applied.
(2) Adjustment method. Preload by adjusting screw, inclined block or eccentric wheel.
